In collaboration with School of Psychology at Flinders University, my group and I created Cura. Cura is a
post-cancer remission care box which provides a range of items for women once they have completed their breast cancer journey. Cancer is not only a physical, but a mental battle as well. Similar to during treatment, support for mental health is just as important once in remission. Within this box there are comfort items such as a beanie and a candle. There are also items to support the mental health of the patient, such as affirmation cards, scan-able
pod-cast cards and a journal. For this project, I created the logo, branding identity, journal, as well as co-designing the candle box. For the journal, a month sample was created where women can answer questions and express themselves. In creating this care box, breast cancer patients entering remission become more resilient
and stronger mentally.
